"I've been a journalist since 1982. My family has worked as locksmiths since 1976–first specializing as hotel locksmiths until 2002. Then we created a new business for residential and commercial locksmithing. When I started marketing the new business a few years ago, I became aware of serious problems associated with the industry. Not with genuine locksmiths, mind you, but with those posing as locksmiths. Hopefully, my investigative skills and knowledge of the locksmith industry will help the average consumer avoid being scammed or inviting disreputable characters into their homes and businesses. My blog will also keep locksmiths and consumers abreast of what is happening in the industry."
